Tasks will include supporting editorial team (obvs), liaising w/ authors and agents, drafting copy, writing AIs, dealing with submissions and admin tasks. They want someone with a “keen eye for detail, exceptional organisational skills and a love of literature”. Is there a better publishing job than this? This has to be everyone’s dream job, right? Please apply and please get it because the thought of it is making me want to weep a little bit. You’ll be providing full administrative and editorial support to a Senior Commissioning Editor and Creative Editor, and liaising w/ translators, academics, agents and internal departments. You will undertake research and other projects, draft copy, manage the editorial progress of manuscripts, co-ordinate with other departments, contribute ideas and generally ensure that the publishing process runs smoothly.
