i’m back y’aaaalllllll. a happy new year to all of you and welcome to a new year of internships & jobs! new year new job right?
let’s whizz through these !!
Responsibilities include administrative support (such as assisting the scouts, preparing memos and scheduling clients) and editorial support (reading and evaluating manuscripts, preparing publishing reports, coverage of various media for articles of interest or relevance to clients).
Applicants should be motivated, organised and ready to work in a fast-paced environment. They need a good eye for detail and the ability to think on their feet.
This is a great way to learn about many aspects of publishing, especially the international market, editorial, agenting, and book to film adaptation.
The internship would be three days a week (ideally Monday, Wednesday and Thursday) and run from April 4th for three months. The internship is unpaid but expenses will be covered. (booo – 3 months unpaid is actually disgusting)
