Jacqui Small Publishing is looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic candidate to join the team as an intern. Looking for somebody hands on with an eagerness to learn.
The role within Jacqui Small is extremely exciting with an insight into various roles of the publishing company. Jacqui Small are a part of the Quarto Publishing Group and specialising in beautifully illustrated food and drink, design and craft books, and the internship will see you working with their editorial department for the entire 8-week duration. Day-to-day tasks will include proofreading, copyediting, picture research, gathering picture permissions, interacting one to one with authors and attending photoshoots, as well as gaining first-hand experience to how the publicity department works for particular publications.
Administrative Assistant Intern @ The Society of Authors (Creative Access)
The SoA is looking for a bright and enthusiastic intern to join their front line team, which helps to ensure the smooth running of the busy office.
During the placement, the trainee will learn how to support the dynamic team and will receive training on a range of office administration skills including; call handling, database management, website administration and events set-up.
This internship would suit an ambitious, self-starter with a strong interest in the business of publishing.
