OKAY??
Closing date: 24/10

Super fun last minute addition 🎉
Okay so I’ve had a lovely email from the PR company we work with at John Blake (I can’t do all the publicity you know), and they’re looking for an intern! Details as follows:
The Midas Public Relations graduate training programme entails working on a series of our arts, publishing, events and consumer accounts reporting to a series of different Account Managers at Midas. You would be trained to build and run a PR campaign from beginning to end, including; PR strategy and planning, writing effective and convincing copy for press releases and email pitches, building media lists, running PR software, social media, day to day liaison with arts journalists, project management, creative brainstorming, attending journalist meetings, setting up publicity schedules including interviews, book signings and author events. You would also be expected to attend a number of client related events ranging from publishing trade events, to author launches, award ceremonies and festivals. From the very beginning of the placement we would aim to give you your own responsibilities on your allocated accounts, such as running a regional, digital or magazine campaign for the accounts you are working on, so that at the end of the placement you are ready to start work in any one of London’s leading PR agencies or in house at a leading publisher.
Up for it?? Email the lovely tory.lyne-pirkis@midaspr.co.uk to apply, they’re interviewing next week for a start date of 31/10 but just a quick warning, last I heard from a previous intern this is more or less unpaid!
Ok now we really are done xxx
