Greene & Heaton (literary & media agency) are looking for an intern for up to six months (paid minimum wage – awesome). (Scroll to the bottom of the link)

Interns provide administrative support to the agents as well as working on foreign rights and maintaining our website, Twitter feed and internal databases. Applicants should be passionate about books and associated media, and happy to get involved with all aspects of assisting a busy literary and media agency.

Bloomsbury Academic (wooowwwww) are looking for a paid Marketing Intern for 2-3 months to start ASAP.

Responsibilities may include:

  • some elements of social media
  • press work and sending out review copies
  • trying to develop exposure with related associations and industry bodies
  • talking to authors to help with exploiting their networks
  • possible attendance at events

Skills, Knowledge, Experience

  • Marketing &/or Publicity experience (within Publishing is preferable)
  • Ability to use initiative and work independently
  • Confident communicator

London Review of Books want an editorial intern!

The London Review has a vacancy for an editorial intern starting in the autumn. Duties are various and not glamorous (so make them glam guys) . They include fetching and carrying, answering the phone, opening the post and fact-checking. The fact-checking is particularly important. The job is paid and lasts a year.

Literary Hub are seeking a highly organized and motivated full-time editorial intern at their New York office. The intern will be an integral part of a small team, working closely with editors on day-to- day operations.

This is a¬†paid, full-time position¬†with opportunities for advancement. The internship is¬†six months¬†(September through March).
