Firstly, there are these Ebury Internships, which I don’t really get.

Editorial Assistant Intern (Fiction) – one day a week for a year, which is perfect if you’re still studying but sucks for everyone else.

Apply with a CV and covering letter in which you should answer the following question: “Which current commercial fiction publishing trend do you think is the most exciting and why?”

Editorial Assistant Intern (Enterprises) – also one day a week for a year, and this one is more about brands.

Apply with a CV and covering letter in which you should answer the following question: “Which branded books (e.g. restaurant and museum collaborations) would you have loved to work on/been involved in?”

Both of these close TOMORROW.🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨 So get on it.

Okay, next, this one at Crimson Publishing: Production Editorial Assistant Internship.

It’s another one year internship in Bath! You need a degree, boo; but it is paid! £13,200 to be exact. Full spec at the link above.

To apply for this position, please send your CV and covering letter to Kate Michell, Production Manager, at katem@crimsonpublishing.co.uk by 1 September, 2016.

Mooving on.

Icky unpaid one. Sorry.

Sheldrake Press: A London publisher is offering traineeships covering all aspects of publishing, with the opportunity to work in the editorial, sales and marketing, production and foreign rights departments.

Another icky unpaid.

The role will involve providing administrative and PR support for the whole publicity and marketing department. The role offers the opportunity for hands-on experience assisting the campaigns process, including the creation of press documents, handling mail-out campaigns and maintaing integral systems. This may vary depending on the individual’s strengths and the amount of support required by each staff member.

Expenses only, closes 22nd August, email CV & covering letter to recruitment@titanemail.com.

Finally…

Duncan Petersen Publishing: Duncan Petersen Publishing is looking for an intern to work on a new website – data loading – during August. Small friendly office in Battersea, London – and some pay.
