Editorial Assistant at Caterpillar Books (Little Tiger Press)

This banger from last week is still up for grabs. I’m going to copy and paste it because I’m hungover, hope that’s cool.

Caterpillar books produce novelty, early-learning and non-fiction titles for children aged around 0 to 12 and they are looking to expand their team! Responsibilities will include proofreading, copy-editing, scheduling, various administrative duties, liaising with other departments, writing copy for marketing purposes, and potentially some writing and editing of book content as well. Send all applications (CV and cover letter) to jlitton@caterpillarbooks.co.uk

Audio Assistant at Little, Brown

This is your last day to apply for the audio assistant role! They want someone with accurate and creative writing skills; numeracy; a passion for books and authors, combined with the desire to work in audiobooks and spoken word; basic technical skills to use software packages e.g. databases and audio editing. You’ll be working in all aspects of audio publishing, as well as running some social media accounts and other general assistant type tasks. Email your CV and cover to recruitment@hachette.co.uk to apply!

Digital Assistant at HarperCollins

The digital team at HC are looking for a digital assistant to look after the Editorial Quality Assurance of backlist ebooks (how important and professional does that sound??) as well as a number of other duties. The only experience you need is in proof reading, but they also want someone who is awesome with computers, reliable and attentive. Sound like you? Apply by emailing your CV, cover letter and salary expectations to Stephanie.hall@harpercollins.co.uk.

That’s it, I’m done, I’m going to go pass out on the sofa. HAVE A GOOD WEEKEND ALL!
